My Best Friends Wedding…..

I guess I am eligible to write something on this, now that Mansoor is married and I was apart of it… his invitation is a must-read, would love to share:

* The picture above is however not from Mansoor's wedding. The bride in the picutre is another very good friend of mine, Klaudyna, who also got married very recently, to the love of her life. Well, i could have more than just one best friend. Cheers!

My lovely friend vani,

Iam inviting you for my marriage which is planned on 11th jan 2009. You are one of my dearest one. So i need your presence which would really make me happy. Iam sending you my marriage invitation also remember that my reception is planned on the next day at the same place at 1.00 A.M so dont forget to attend that too.

with love
Mansoor

This was his e-mail to me. Gee Mansoor, that is possibly the most beautiful invitation a friend to get from another friend. Thanks!!!

I had a great day….memories flooding through my head as I met and saw people, like I was watching movie. The trip down the memory lane was pleasant, indeed. The fact that we are all grown ups, hit me harder. Felt like we just met and, now all of us have so moved-on with life, isn’t it. Shyam also shares the same opinion. Life just went by, with style… hehe.

And the bride, very cute, baby-cute-girl she was. A small chat with her made me realize that I needed no introduction to her. Amazing girl, “lucky Mansoor” I thought.

What a wonderful day, full of memories… Me happy!!!

God bless you Mansoor!

All my friends are getting married or getting hitched, or finding the someone-of-their-lives. It’s a nice reminder of the aging thing… in India we age earlier than the rest of the world does. Close-to-everyone of my friends are married or at least committed…nice feeling it is … Mmm my turn is just around the corner as well…. Prayers are all I need!!!

talked to my school teacher (11th, 12th sanskrit master).. he listed to me all the people from my batch who have gotten married, and even had a kid recently.. realised, almost exactly what you're told here.. thought my time is somewhere close.. "round the corner" to re-quote you.. :)

Love passes as how a chapter does in a book as we read.......but its only once. You might wanna flip the pages back and read it again......only to fool yourself
